Cut and Paste

For the next few days, all I will be doing at home will be cutting and pasting. My sister is getting married in November (in case you don't already know). So the little bag on the wedding dinner don't actually magically appear (who knew!).

What I'll be doing is just the "Thank You" tag that will be attached to the bag which will be holding the wedding favours.

First, it starts out as a huge piece of paper and I have to cut each one of it out.


Then I colour the borders of each of the tags with a black marker. Next, I stick these "Thank You"s at the other side.


Finally, I will cut of the stems of these little flowers..


...and stick them onto the "Thank You". They come in two colours! :D

That's basically it but try doing 150 of them. Pretty ain't it? I don't really mind actually. I'm just sitting at the computer doing nothing anyway. Might as well do something while listening to Hitz trying to win meet and greets (Yes! I am not giving up!). I know that I don't stand a chance with 12 seconds. So I'm finding other means to get them doubt I will get them. I shall just go really early on Sunday and compensate with a good view of the stage. ;)

Today's mission : Finish cutting the tags into smaller size and blacken the borders.

Full time lazy ass.

Yes! I am back to being a full time student and it is an awesome feeling! Being a part time student just gives you the unnecessary stress. Everyone in class is soooooo serious and are actually listening to the lecturer.

Full time is awesome. There are so many people in the class the lecturer can hardly see you! You can do whatever shit you want in class and still get away with it unless you start stripping in class.

The downside of being a full time student is that now I have to get up at 7am on Monday morning to be on time for 8am class which in a way isn't that bad. I would normally be still sleeping, waking up at 11-ish just in time for lunch. Now, class ends at 11am. So technically my day still starts at 11 something. No loss!

The best thing?

I don't have to wake up on Sunday morning being all happy and lively thinking I have the weekend and then get everything taken away when I remembered I have class at 3.30pm. Its nice being back to full time with innocent people who are not exposed to the ugly corporate world.

Anyways, that's enough about class. Today's mission is to stare at the phone. Why? One might ask. Well, MTV was having a contest giving out meet 'n' greet passes for MTV Worldstage 2011 for 30 Seconds to Mars. The contest ended yesterday and so now I am waiting for my phone to ring hearing someone telling me, "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE WON 2 MEET 'N' GREET PASSES TO SEE 30 SECONDS TO MARS!!!"

Fuck. I'm already starting to hallucinate, seeing myself walking down a red carpet with colourful confetti raining down on me.

*stares into space, waving at air*

I think I stand quite a good chance? But then again, I'm not having high hopes. 12 seconds 10/10.

I'm just praying hard man...

All I know is that for the next 72 hours, my phone will NOT leave my side. Yes, even when I go for a shower, I'm bringing it in! I'll be bringing the charger along too! Just in case. ;)

Sunday school.

My version of Sunday school ain't the one where you go and learn the stories in the bible.

Lectures on International Auditing Standards are what I have on everyone's lovely Sunday. I wake up feeling the weekend and then it hits me, "Shit, I've got class later."

I should change back to my full time classes but then again, it is easier to change from full time to part time because the part time classes are emptier and the full time, well, more full.

AND I have MTV WorldStage to go for next Sunday. Meaning I will have to skip 2 sessions which is a total of 6 hours of lecture. I really don't mind skipping but people in the part time classes are not very friendly in their own corporate world. I prefer the crazy people in the full time.

So today's mission! I shall go talk to my lecturer and tell him that it is more convenient for me to go for full time classes because my family wants to have a family time on Sunday and would prefer me to go to class during weekdays as well. I might also add on that I "actually" don't drive so my parents will have to purposely send me to college and back whereas normal days my dad can drop me off when he goes to work.

Gosh, my lies an excuses are so full proof.

I would die to meet this gorgeous person and his band. Just look at him! :D


But as usual, I don't have high hopes on getting the tickets. I never have the luck for things like that. The more I want it, the lower the chance I'll get it. Life sucks in that way. Imagine how crushed I would be when the contest is over and I don't get the call from MTV. I think I'll actually go through depression!

I wonder where will they be staying.....?

Crap that makes life fun!

As usual, it is once again the time after the exams when everything that I have planned before the exam never, I repeat, NEVER, takes place.

Of course, there is no difference to this semester. Here I am lazing my ass around at home, rotting and morphing into a potato on the couch.

Neither am I looking forward to working! Its like, there goes my freedom for the next 3 years! A bit sad ain't it? Since I am not even 21 and I'll be sucked into the jungle of working life. No wonder the shop was named Forever 21. Who doesn't want to stay 21 forever? I would! Oh damn I wish beer was a fountain of youth.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to wake up for lunch? Seems like I've been doing just that lately.

Crap. I need a life! Though I do need a lot of other things. I need a bigger closet. I need a car. I need money.
