Come over to the dark side, we have cookies!
Attempted to bake chocolate chip cookies today. It went fairly well. Too much work for my preference. Prefer making cakes where all you have to do in dump the barter into the cake tim and pop it into the oven.
Cookies on the other hand is more troublesome because you have to shape them one by one.
Somehow the recipe that I followed decided to lie to me. The proportion of almonds and chocolate chip to dough wasn't quite right! In the end I had too much of nuts and chips and not enough dough to stick them together. AND I can't keep them because there are some little pieces of dough mixed together.
What to do? Throw them away??
OF COURSE NOT!
I poured everything else into a tray and popped it into the oven. I came out tasting nicer than the cookies itself because of the abundance of chopped almonds. Then, I decided to used them as ice cream toppings.
Damn my ice cream tasted awesome.
