It is a little late. Actually, VERY late for this post but I have been busy doing other stuff and I just noticed this morning that I have not written about my experience at Redang.
Our flight was scheduled to leave at 8.30 am. Meaning that I will have to wake up at 6am to pack some stuff and have some food.
The flight wasn't long. Berjaya Air wasn't that bad actually. Its pretty comfortable. Right before the plane landed we saw a rainbow right outside our window. Didn't manage to get a picture of it though...
Once we got out of the plane, the air was sooooo humid and hot. The saltiness of the sea can be smelt from the air. Somehow I thought that it was saltier than Perhentian...
Got on a van to the Resort, checked in and chilled because the next snorkelling trip is only at 2 something. So we had to time kill and when I say that it means time for me to explore the place and take loads of human being-less pictures.
Snorkelling for me wasn't as nice as Perhentian. Then we got back it was dinner and after that I was basically just chilling on the chairs outside the chalets. You would not believe the view at night! Having less light pollution, you can actually see the stars! Its not as insane as the time I went to Australia. But for Malaysia, you can hardly see them stars anymore.
I crashed early wanted to wake up early to get a shot of the sunrise. The first picture was taken on the last day. The morning of the second day was cloudy but then you can see the gorgeous clouds around the sunrise.
Oh how I loved it there. I would go back to both Redang and Perhentian anytime just to do absolutely nothing but sit and chill.

The Job - Task 7 (Segi + SAYS)
Day One
The time for the last task has arrived! We first had briefing session at Segi where we were introduced to Chris from Says.Com who gave us a brief run through on the company and how it works. Shannon also gave some pointers for the branding of Segi.
So off we went to come out with ideas. We could do anything we want as long as it meets the objective of the campaign. Being team leader for this team was not easy. No offence to my team but I have to admit that the other team had 4 crazily creative brain juices. I was a bit afraid and also I don’t like losing when I am team leader.
After that we were given a room to brainstorm for ideas. It was crazy man! We were literally blank on ideas. Reshma came up with the idea of holding up signs and then that was about it. We were basically playing with that idea for the entire time we were given to brainstorm.
Then Thoriq came up with the topic “Secrets”. That was a “YES!!!!” moment. It was something that has a hook. Everyone loves secrets. We were supposed to head out to The Hideout and pitch our ideas to Shannon as well as Chris for approval and advices. We ran through a couple of ideas and it was Secrets that was appealing to them both the most. Thus, Secrets it is. Things were delegated and a checklist was made making sure that everyone knows what time to come, what preparations and what to bring.
Day Two
Execution! Reshma and I were there at about 9am. I borrowed my sister’s camera for pictures and Reshma brought the manila cards and some markers. We were waiting for Thoriq and Zarith when Reshma was telling me that we should create a consent form. So, we did. Also, we cut the manila cards as well as came down to a list of pre-approved “secrets” just in case people don’t want to come up with their own secrets.
It was about 10am. And the other 2 people were still missing. Thoriq had some work errands to run and Zarith was not answering his phone. Reshma and I decided to start off first as I decided that we both will be approaching people and the guys will be coming up with the body copy for the Says page as well as the landing copy.
It was fun as hell! Though there was a bit messy because we didn’t write down the secrets on the manila cards beforehand. So I have to say that it was a bit kelam kabut also la. We tried to do too many things at once.
Then finally the other two guys arrived! Zarith who was suppose to bring the Sharpie markers his team bought for the 8TV PSA previously left them in the cab! I don’t blame him la. He was sick and went to the clinic and probably forgot about them in the cab but I was thankful that Reshma brought hers just in case.
So, our cut off time was 2.30pm. Roughly around 1-ish, we went back and checked on Thoriq and Zarith who were sitting down and brainstorming for the wordings. Thoriq seems to be stuck. Without wasting any time, it was decided that Reshma switch with Thoriq. Then it was Thoriq and I who went around taking pictures. 2.30pm and we were done! Went back up to the room and went through everything making sure that we got what we need.
We went down for a final photoshoot of Thoriq for the picture on Says and off we go to The Hideout....
At The Hideout, we were provided with a designer to help design our landing pages
Day Three
Basically after the preparations, we had nothing much to do other than spamming. I feel really bad for spamming. I HATE spamming. I did minimal amount of it. But enough to get me blocked from the Segi FB page itself!
DAMN!
Other than that we were suppose to come up with a presentation for the concept behind the idea. Maximising my awesome powerpoint skills creating the prettiest slides ever. I’m so proud of them. HAHA! Presentation went smoothly, even for me. Since it was my team, I know everything for everyone. As long as I am familiar with what’s in the slides, I’m actually fine! *thinks back Kenanga week* *Shudders*
It was a short day. The next would be the revelation!!! JENG JENG JENG!!!
Day Four (FINAL DAY)
Then it was the results....
It was crazy man!! Waiting for Chris to announce the statistics is enough to drive us crazy! FINALLY......
WE WON!!!!
HOLY MOTHER FREAKING BALLS!!!!
And then it was all over. 2 month of absolute fun being thrown into all kinds of industries doing all the wacky and crazy things. The last task has come to an end.
Now it was just one final interview and the winner will be revealed.
Well, honestly, I didn’t really want to win the final prize. I came to have fun and gain experience as well as meeting new people. It was a random thing that I got into this show. All I wanted was to try out my interview skills and who knew I would have gotten myself in this.
Went through this interview which I knew I screwed up. When I came out I knew I wasn’t getting The Job. We all roughly knew who was going to be the winner already.
Then it was the moment of truth, the announcement of the winner.
CONGRATS RESHMA!!!
We knew kinda knew it was going to be you. Jason was close but it is still yours! GIRL POWER! Woo hoo! It was an honour working with you the most times throughout the entire show.
It was the best experience that I ever had. I did not regret going for that interview/audition. I did not regret meeting all you awesome people (contestants, production as well as clients!). I had the best 2 months ever being part of the show.
THANKS ALL! :)
PICTURES taken from the entire show! Things that wasn't shown on TV. We had sooo much fun. I miss you all! <3

Signs and Symptoms
You know how some times you get some wacky symptoms and then you decided to consult Dr.Google?
Recently, I noticed that there were little red dots on my legs. Like even pores on my leg and they are under the skin. Meaning they were not bumpy like a rash.
Dr.Google said that these things were called Petechiae and as a normal human being, I google image and looked for the pictures that looked just like my symptom. Found a few and they point to me having Dengue Fever.
I do actually meet all the symptoms. Headache, muscle and joint aches, pain behind the eyes, spots. The only thing missing was the fever. Hahaha! Glad that didn't show up.
But then today the dots are going away. So I guess that it was just nothing.
Though, I am still constantly tired and having low blood pressure which is driving me crazy because I space out 9.5 times out of 10. Also getting a head rush 3 out of 5 times you stand up ain't fun.
I should REAAAAALY go get my blood checked....
But then again......... :3

Cookie Mode!
Yes, I've been pretty much doing nothing at home and I had this idea to make this god-like cookies that a friend of mine once made. They were gastrorgasmic man!
It seems like the oven I have is soooooo pathetically small, I can only bake like 3 of them at a time. Thus, I intend to reduce the size, and more people get to eat them! :D
Since the first few rounds were just 3 at a time, somehow the time taken to bake these heavens in a tray are not fast enough. Bake 3, eat 2. Balance 1. So now I am actually blogging to make sure that I keep my hand off those cookies or there won't be any left.
Though I have to admit that they are a bit too sweet. Then it hit me. I was supposed to used semi sweetened chocolate chips. But I bought the sweetened ones.
Oh well! All the sore throat that will be coming will be sooooo worth it. Anyways, credits to the original recipe, here!

The Job - Task 6 (Proton)
Day One
So this week’s challenge was going to be a total surprise! We have absolutely no clue on what the task was going to be about nor do we even know our client. The curiosity was eating into my brains for that entire week!!
So we were told to meet up at Segi College early in the morning. We all got into the van and went towards our mystery location. Somehow it was as though as we were going in circles. Went all the way to Shah Alam and then came back towards Subang and then gone back into the Shah Alam industrial area.
Finally, we arrived at our location....
PROTON!!
Team A was Jason, Emmy, Zarith and I. Team B was Reshma, Thoriq, Jasmine and Ismail. The weird part was that we went all the way there just to shoot the opening scene and the announcement of the teams. After that we had to go all the way back to Mutiara Damansara.
So we found out that our task was to carry out a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) as well as to deliver a Proton FLX-SE to a client. We had to split the task so that each person gets an equal amount of work. Once we arrived to the showroom at Mutiara Damansara, we were put straight into a quick session of briefing. Crash course on PDI and delivery man!
We had to learn every single thing about the car in just one night! Thank god for the existence of the checklist. If we had to remember all the steps, I think I would have died on the spot.
So Day 1 ended with Jason delegating stuff to the team. One night to remember the parts in which we were suppose to carry out...
Day Two
During the night, what we actually did was to come up with the points that we will be explaining to the client. The Flow. We met up early at Mcds and went through some of everyone’s points.
When it was time we head over to the showroom and waited for it to begin.
Everything happened at like super speed! We were given 45min to complete the PDI. That was something new that we found out there and then. Emmy and I started off first going through the car and I guess we underestimated 45mins. We took longer than we should have leaving us less time to finish the other stuff.
Car wash! Thanks to the help of the mighty “Superman” we had crazy amount of fun. It was the most random thing ever. Jason called me the night before asking whether I have goggles and I thought he just wanted to borrow them because he’s going swimming or something....
Then, we had to install some items on the car. There was a slight problem with the number plate and it was super hilarious. It won’t be shown on TV but the screw we were suppose to unscrew for the number plate could not be unscrewed. They stopped our time and had to get a technician to come and loosen the screw for us.
And that was the first half of the task...
Second half was the actual delivery of the car to the client. Zarith went through the warranty part with the client. Then Jason and I went over the car with the client and in the end it was over. It was pretty fun! Insanely detailed stuff but fun!

Day Three
Back to Segi for the judging on day 3. We
were there waiting to find out who were the winners of the prize. Right! I
forgot to mention! The prize! A sales rebate of RM2000 for Proton. Perfect man.
I just was about to get a new car.
We knew that it was going to be close because we could see the other team performing and it was close. So it was a little nerve wrecking moment...
WE WON! RM2000 babeh! New car come to meeeeee!!
After so many weeks somehow whether or not I get job offers, it doesn’t really matter? It’s just the best if you just win for the week damn it! ;)
Judging. I remembered that Pn Jamilah said that I have a pretty smile! Hahaha! Then there was something about Zarith and pretty girls, Emmy being over detailed. I can’t really remember what they said. In the end it was Jason and I who got the job offer for Team A and Thoriq for Team B.
Next week! Final task! A marketing campaign to gain as many likes as possible for Segi Malaysia’s Facebook page and our media was Says.Com! It is going to be fun as hell!
Teams are.....
Team A : Ismail, Jasmine, Jason, Emmy
Team B : Reshma, Zarith, Thoriq and I
It was week one all over again! Just that now we are closer to each other and we know each other better! AND they decided to choose the 2 people who didn’t want to be team leader for the last week. Ismail and ME....
I was talking to Ismail during one of the weeks and we did come to conclude that we don’t mind being team leader for any task except for the last one because we knew that it was going to be BIG.
Damn that mouth of mine...
Photos for Proton week! :)

The Job - Task 5 (Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad)
Day One
From last week’s fun week with P1, we went to a 360 turn to a serious company, namely Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad. Finance! Shares! Of all the things in the world, it must be one of the things that I do not like the most...
Finance.
I know, I am an ACCA graduate and I am suppose to be having the advantage in this task but no. I detest finance. Wait, that’s not right. I LOATHE finance.
Not knowing our team or task this week was also horrible. We had absolutely nothing to use to do any form of research before we walk into the company.
We arrived, got a super short tour of the place and then we were just waiting there for the announcement. Mr. Chan was about to announce the team as well as the task. Kancheong giler! And it was the girls versus the guys week! We predicted that this would happen. Then there was the announcement of the task. We were given RM1 million to invest in shares and we were suppose to create a portfolio and justify why we decide to invest in the shares we picked.
We went through a short training session. I swear I was just pretending to understand what in the world the dude was talking about because I have no bloody idea what the hell is he saying. I have an ACCA reputation to keep up people! I was even more lost after the training than before!
Then we were to discuss with a mentor provided. Thank god for Jasmine who knows what she’s doing. End of the day we had our shares and delegated what we are suppose to do.
That night it was hell on earth. Minimum relax hours, maximum stress doing what I hate most in the world...
Research...
Day Two
Started early. I woke up at 6 to finalise my slides. We were all stressed out with the amount of work still left to finalise in the morning.
We had a shooting and we finally understood the phrase “Time is Money”. We girls were literally counting down every minute that we were standing downstairs waiting for the crew to set up. We took the time to relax a bit, snap some pictures and found out our prize for the week...
An account with KIBB with a starting balance of RM3000! Holy mother it is RM3k!
That was plain motivation to work even harder to perfecting our presentation and facts making sure that there are no loopholes in what we were presenting.
While we were having lunch, Jason and Ismail actually came over and asked us whether the girls would like to go present first. Well, of course we didn’t want to. We could use that extra 1 hour to prepare! A bit mean but then it is 3 freaking thousand!
Presentation. Damn I was nervous as hell! I guess I soooo screwed up my part but. It was messy as hell and my flow was just wrong. I believe I have just humiliated myself in front of the entire nation.

Day Three
As usual day 3 is results day. Judging from
the guy’s expressions after the girls’ presentation, we were pretty sure that
we would be winning. But then there was a doubt that the guys were playing mind
games. We didn’t wanna put our hopes high up and just have it ripped down to
the bottom.
Results were nerve wrecking! In the end...
*drumrolls*
We did it! RM3000 muddafuggas! Best part is that the girls defeated the guys and Jason’s winning streak!

During judging, our strategy was for
everyone to talk and try to get 4 job offers. Mr. Chan’s comment was that I was
nervous during the presentation till at some point he thought that I was going
to hyperventilate and faint. Aw man! At that point I thought that I wasn’t
gonna get a job offer.
But then he said my financial calculations were very impressive. Aw shucks...
We gotten the best compliment that anyone could ever get. Bruce mentioned that there was nothing negative that he could comment about for us. Coming from him, it was the best thing ever because he was usually the one who finds out the little small details and comments on them. So what he told us, we were happy shit man!
Then Mr. Chan said, “Emmy, Jasmine, Janice and Reshma, we are giving our four job offers to you” or something like that.
4 job offers ya’ll!! Girls slaughtered the guys this week. Best judging ever!!
Then it was time for the announcement for next week’s task and.....
It’s a freaking surprise. We don’t know the company, industry or our team mates! Shit man! Its going to be hell!
We were trying to get info out from production and from what we gathered, it was going to be fun and crazy and that we won’t need any prior preparation for the task...
This shit just got seriously fun! ;)
But then he said my financial calculations were very impressive. Aw shucks...

This shit just got seriously fun! ;)
