Life is a maze.. so are old buildings...

I have a thing against old buildings. People last time think too much when they are building the building. I went to University Hospital some time ago and the place was so fucking huge! The worse part was finding the place you want to go. It takes like 20 minutes just to walk from the new block to the old block and that is without getting lost. If you walk outside the hospital, crossing the building is relatively easy. However, inside is like a bloody labyrinth!

Today, I was at KDU (yes, another old building). I needed to submit some stuff for the revision classes there for F8 (my audit paper which I unfortunately failed last semester). Parking there is super dumb. The place has no system at all! My mom almost got pissed off.

Went in an the lady asked us to go to the third floor to some other department. She says, "Turn left and you'll see a lift".

Fine.

We turned left and what we saw was a branch road. One looks like a dead end to the cafeteria and so we took the other. Somehow it doesn't look right BUT thank god, techy guy Adrian was walking down the hallway. Lifesaver! Could have been walking around for ages...

So apparently the "dead end" was an elevator which totally blends in with the surrounding walls.

I was glad to get out. I guess somehow you'll get used to the building structure after some time. It took me awhile to find my way around Sunway. Use to get lost or take the wrong elevator to the wrong corner resulting in me walking all the way to the other end....

Seriously, they say people now are more complicated but I think people last time are worse!
